It’s been a full week of conversations, insights, and moments that remind us just how fast the world is shifting and how much opportunity sits inside that change.

Below are a few pieces from our team that stood out. They’re simple, practical, and rooted in the work we’re doing every day with leaders, schools, and organisations navigating what’s next.

1️⃣ Here’s a genius way for schools to communicate with parents. Seriously. Genius.

Hands up if you’ve ever sent your kid to school in the wrong uniform because you missed a memo? Or if you spend 30 minutes looking for what time the U12 cricket match starts.

That’s exactly why Jude Foulston created the FutureSmart-ED School GPT – a ChatGPT tool for schools where parents can ask it anything: sports schedules, uniform days, events – you name it, and get the answer back in seconds. No scrolling through endless WhatsApp messages, emails, or apps. One place. One answer. And schools? Just one ChatGPT Plus account sets it up.

This resource is included in the Cheese on Wheels Club – a monthly resource for schools where we share the same frameworks and insights that our team shares with leaders around the world but customised for schools. Simple tools, AI prompts, and practical steps to move education forward, embrace change, and without overwhelming or adding more to teachers.

Watch how the School GPT works here and then sign your school up for just R990 / $59 monthly. And honestly, if you want to leave the club after the first month, that’s also ok – we don’t think you will, but we’re confident to leave that decision with you. No questions asked, and you’ll have the GPT set up, as well as the resources we share for month 1.

For now – just imagine what a tool like this will do for the new parents and learners starting at a new school in 2026, and existing parents, and of course the hours it’ll save your school staff. Sign up here.

2️⃣ Help Graeme Make the Top 30 Futurists 2026.

Graeme Codrington is quietly shaping the future, and now he needs your help to make it official. The Global Gurus Top 30 Futurists 2026 list is open for nominations, and while Graeme usually ignores ranking lists, this one matters. It’s a who’s who of futurists he respects and wants to join.

So – if you think Graeme deserves to be on the Top 30 Futurists 2026 list, please would you go to the voting page and add his name – it takes just 30 seconds. On the right-hand side, you scroll down through the 2025 list, click “Other guru” and add Graeme’s name (Graeme Codrington) in the box that will open. It’s as simple as that.  It does seem like it is tough to do on a mobile phone, so perhaps best to use your laptop.) Thank you! Let’s help get Graeme on that list.

3️⃣ TomorrowToday x Alteryx: Building a Data-Driven AI Future.

This month, TomorrowToday Consulting’s Chief Exploration Officer and Co-Founder, Dean van Leeuwen, is partnering with Alteryx, a leading AI and data analytics company that powers actionable insights to help organisations make smarter, faster decisions. Dean will be joining Alteryx for two transformation events to deliver keynotes on Thriving in a BANI World, exploring how AI, data, and human ingenuity are reshaping the future of work.

On 24 November, Dean will be speaking at the Alteryx–BAE Systems event at the iconic McLaren Technology Centre,

On 26 November, he will join Alteryx again for their BFSI Leadership Forum in London.

If you’d like to explore the concepts behind these sessions, you can find more here. If you are interested in learning more about either of the Alteryx events, please reach out to Rik Gunderson at [email protected]

4️⃣ The AI Bubble: Why Most Solutions Will Fail (and How to Win).

Graeme Codrington shared Clara Hawking’s take on the AI bubble – it cuts through the noise. The problem isn’t just funding or architecture; it’s companies scaling AI products that still make too many mistakes. The winners will be those building solutions that are trusted, explainable, and create entirely new value, not just faster versions of old processes.

The question isn’t “What can we automate?” It’s “What new outcomes are possible with generative AI?” That’s how you get ahead of the bubble. Read more here.

5️⃣ The 3 Deep Shifts Shaping the Future (Insights from Dubai).

Fresh from the Dubai Future Forum, Dean van Leeuwen shared three deep shifts highlighted by HE Khalfan Belhoul, CEO of the Dubai Future Foundation. These shifts cut straight to what’s already reshaping how people work: focus becoming a new currency, expertise being rewritten by AI, and trust moving toward digital companions.

They align closely with Dean’s Grey Elephant research – those high-impact forces we routinely underestimate. The takeaway? The future isn’t predicted; it’s created. These shifts are signals. What matters now is how leaders respond. Read more in his LinkedIn post here.
