TRANSCRIPT
Welcome to a special bonus episode of ThrowForward Thursday. My name is Graeme Codrington and every week for the last 150 weeks we’ve jumped into the future to see what’s going on there and then try to work out what it means for us today. Thanks for joining me again.
This bonus episode at the end of season four is a fantastic announcement. I’m really excited that our team at TomorrowToday has decided to put together a fantastic podcast. It’s available now wherever you get your podcasts. It’s called “The TomorrowToday Podcast”. Hopefully easy to find.
Have a look for the version that’s got this particular graphic associated with it. There are a few people who’ve used the label Tomorrow Today, but ours is the best and certainly the original.
The TomorrowToday Podcast is about mapping the future of business. What we’ve done, is we’ve taken the work that we’ve been doing over the last number of years about the future of work, what businesses need to be doing differently now so that they can prepare for the next five years, and into the 2030s.
We’ve broken our research up into various themes, and each episode of the podcast deals with one of those themes, from leadership to organisational design, from strategic imagination to people, and whatever it is that you need to do differently, or whatever it is you need to think about in a different way. If you are not going to survive in all of the disruption that we’re dealing with, but if you’re going to thrive and make sure that you set yourself up to take advantage of all of the opportunities coming our way.
So that’s what our podcast is about, and what we’ve decided to do, is focus our attention and your attention on that podcast. So, in the next two months, I am going to be putting snippets from that podcast into the ThrowForward Thursday feed.
So, you’ll get just little bite-sized chunks of the longer episodes. And I’ll remind you every week to sign up for The TomorrowToday Podcast as well because that’s where you’ll get each of the full episodes released every second Tuesday on your favourite podcast platform.
A little bit different for the next season of ThrowForward Thursday. We’ll be back again later this year looking at those scenarios from the future, but I really hope that you get as much benefit out of The TomorrowToday Podcast as we did, while we were putting it together, and I hope you enjoy it as much as we did. As we worked together with our team, our extended group of associates, and many of our clients to make sure that we got the best insights and the most up to date research to share with you.
Thank you as always for joining me in the future. I will see you in the ThrowForward Thursday studio in a few months’ time, but make sure that you subscribe now to the Tomorrow Today podcast.
I’m sure you’ll get the benefit and enjoy it. See you soon.
Thanks, as always for joining me in the future, today was a little bit more not quite a rant but a little bit more of a comment on where we are rather than where we’re going. But as always, I appreciate you joining me in the future and I’ll see you next week where we’re going to have exciting news about a brand-new resource, I think you’re going to really enjoy. I’ll see you next week in the future
