Natural born humans need not apply Jobs are only available to Bionic and Cyborg people.

Welcome to Throw Forward Thursday. My name is Graeme Codrington and come with me to 2035, where that might be the headline of a number of job opportunities.

You see over the next few years we are going to see more and more people using computers, machines, robotics to enhance their physical characteristics. We spoke last week about artificial ears and eyes but why stop there? We can not only use external exoskeletons we’ve talked about that before in a Throw Forward Thursday, but also put internal machines and robotics to make us stronger faster, improve our senses, our reflexes, and so on and who knows, sometime in the future we’ve talked about Neurolink before as well. We might be able to enhance our Mental capabilities using machines, Bionics, robotics and if that’s the case, there might be certain jobs that are only open to people who are prepared to enhance themselves physically.

Welcome to an interesting machine, human hybrid Cyborg future for some people is a world of opportunity for other people is a little bit scary. Either way, it is the future and thanks for joining me there.

As always, you can interact with us here in the Throwforward Thursday studio by going to askaboutthefuture.com.

This week you can also go to my [email protected], have a look for the video section, and have a look for this episode where you’ll be able to see some links to articles and photographs of people who are already augmenting themselves with robotics and machines.

It’s fascinating stuff and it is the future.

I’ll see you next week as we go into the future again.

Bye.
