Today’s webinar invitation is brought to you by Future Smart Teacher. Please help us reach the teachers in your network to help empower and equip them with essential AI skills for the classroom.
I’m excited to share an update on one of our ‘20% projects’ at TomorrowToday – the Future Smart Teacher Academy.
Over the last 10 days, our very own Jude has been running an “AI for Teachers Bootcamp” called “Sip the GPTea.”
During the bootcamp, Jude has been sharing insights, ideas, and examples of AI tools that can save teachers time, personalise learning, and help develop new skills to stay relevant in the rapidly evolving AI landscape.
The topics covered include:
- Using ChatGPT for administrative tasks
- Leveraging image generators to encourage creative and descriptive writing
- Exploring Brisk, a free tool for creating quizzes, presentations, lessons, and a whole lot more
- Discovering NotebookLM, an AI-powered platform for creating podcasts with AI hosts
One of the highlights of the bootcamp was definitely the session on NotebookLM, which can be a mind-blowing resource not just for teachers, but for anyone. Fun fact: NotebookLM is actually a Google 20% project!
To wrap up the bootcamp, we’re hosting a live webinar this Wednesday, 23rd October at 7:30pm SAST | 6:30pm UK, featuring a keynote presentation by Graeme Codrington on “AI in Education: Empowering Teachers, Transforming Learning.”
This is a must-attend event for forward-thinking educators.
You can find out more about the keynote, and register, here.
By attending, teachers will gain the knowledge and tools to not just survive, but thrive in the AI era, learning how to leverage AI to enhance their teaching, amplify their impact, and prepare their students for a rapidly changing world.
I encourage you to share this opportunity with your kids’ teachers or any other educator friends who might be interested. The keynote is part of the free bootcamp, so anyone wanting to attend just need to register here.
(And at the same time, they’ll get access to the short video replays from the boot camp.)
This isn’t just another tech talk – it’s an important conversation about the future of education.
I hope you and your teacher network can join us!

The Future Smart Teachers’ Club is an online membership designed to support and inspire educators. Members (individuals or schools) get access to valuable resources, expert insights, and a supportive community for a low monthly fee. The club was co-founded by Jude Foulston and Graeme Codrington to help teachers stay up-to-date with the latest trends and strategies in education, in a manner that doesn’t feel overwhelming or just another ‘thing’ teachers have to add to their busy days!
