Infographics in my opinion are items that fall under the category ‘things we should have been using to present data 400 years ago’. How my world of education would have been different if I’d had more of them to study from!

Flying home on Friday I read about Visual.ly on a Guy Kawasaki post:

The infographics-for-all startup launched a public beta site this week that offers a sneak peek at what the company has in store. Rather than just digest a slew of infographics, users can dig in to the site’s tool chest to craft their own custom visualizations.

The site’s still in beta, but it did offer me a chance to create my own infographic in the mean time. It’s based on my twitter profile, and I got to customise hair colour, eyes, style, and gender. It did the rest.

Very nice : )
